Program Update:
On August 7, 2025, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sent an unexpected notice terminating the $156 million Florida Solar for All grant awarded in 2024. The grant was legally obligated to the Solar and Energy Loan Fund (SELF) and our Florida Solar For All (FSFA) Coalition partners. Due to this decision, the Florida Solar for All program is paused until further notice.
This program was intended to help thousands of Florida families reduce their energy costs with rooftop solar, while also creating local jobs and fostering long-term investment in clean energy solutions.
While this news is disappointing, our commitment to energy affordability remains strong. We will continue to work on these critical issues and explore all available avenues to support Florida communities.
The Florida Coalition remains active and focused, and we will keep you informed as we learn more and identify next steps.
In Unity,
Florida Solar For All Team
